Message from Founder and CEO, Rebecca Davis:
"Looking back at the way my career twisted and turned, I know I could have used more career advice. When I was establishing myself as a professional, there could have been a straighter path to finding the financial security that I craved. There were several forks in the road and I picked a direction, just using my intuition. I wish I could have really talked through my options and known more about the specific workings of the industry. For a long time, I was really just flying blind from one Young Artist program to the next, without knowing when to break out of the cycle. I had a wonderful freelance career, but I also wanted a better balanced personal life and financial stability.
When I landed a coveted Fest position in Germany, many personal and professional opportunities opened up for me. Then I found my real voice. My colleagues were reaching out to me for vocal and career advice. I loved hearing about their journeys and brainstorming ways they could take their next steps.
I created SoftlyLoud to give singers more opportunities. To connect them to great industry leaders. To help them collect feedback and information for them to make well-informed decisions in their careers. To help look within themselves, Softly, to know who they are and then to Loudly proclaim it in everything they do.
I look forward to hearing your stories and helping you find a more direct path.
Sincerely, Rebecca

Q & A time
Vocal Technique and Energetic Singing Masterclass
This masterclass is usually done in a group setting with repertoire coaching that engages vocal technique, energetic, and dramatic aspects of singing. I pass on the wonderful advice and technique that I've learned from my voice teachers over my 25 year professional career. My hope is that these lessons help singers find their true voice by finding the balance in engagement and release in their body, flow of breath, heart/body/voice connection, relaxed jaw and tonque awareness, and open resonators that enables a clear speech flow. These are the lessons I use every day, which has allowed me to maintain vocal health and longevity in a demanding career.
Previous Masterclasses given at Milliken University, San Jose State University, and two week long programs in Berlin ,Germany. Since 2020, I have regularly held online vocal and repertoire masterclasses with professional singers sponsored by SoftlyLoud Artist Consulting, LLC.

I am a singer. I grew up in a singing family. I sang in church choir and school musicals. I participated in our family's hokey holiday skits. I studied. I embraced singing as a career. I auditioned. I performed. I triumphed. I faltered. I learned. I created. I am a singer, because I am. The...Welcome to Part Two of my 'Get a Job' Blog post! Let's dive right back in. Really after this week, I want to wax poetic, but will save that for the end. I enjoyed a lot of great benefits in my new "Job", singing full-time in Germany. I sang roles more than just twice in a production and really...2020年12月27日Raise your hand. How many of you have heard this notorious phrase come from your most beloved relatives and friends.... or even from yourself. "GET A JOB." What exactly is a "Job" for classical singers? Do they mean a "Job" that isn't singing? I tried that and it didn't feel like me. For...Who is SoftlyLoud?
